The Bengali are indigenous to the Bengal region which is the area between Bangladesh and West Bengal. Bengalis are typically classified according to their shared language; however, culture varies from people group to people group. They are primarily farmers and fishers and live in villages of 100 to 1000 people. Bengali marriages are arranged, and men typically work outside and women work inside. Most Bengalis are Muslim, and those in Oman are nearly all Muslim.Engagement // What’s Happening Now
