Arab, Palestinian in Yemen

The Palestinian Arabs are part of the Levant Arab people cluster. Arab culture was birthed in the Arabian Peninsula and spread across the Middle East and North Africa. Palestinian Arabs have a long association with Islam and Arab culture, and they speak an Arabic dialect called Mashriqi.

They are socially organized by tribes ruled by sheiks who are experts in Islam. Islam plays a large role in their lives; it influences their societal structure, daily practices, and moral beliefs. There are large communities of Palestinian Arab Christians, however, the number of evangelicals remains under .10 percent.

Partnership // Move Beyond
  • Pray for workers to serve in Yemen among Palestinian Arabs.
  • Pray God reveals himself to them as the true God.
  • Pray that Palestinian Arabs will come to know Jesus as their Savior.

“She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21, NASB).
