Arab, Omani in Kuwait

Kuwait is an Arab nation on the border of Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf. After discovering and selling oil, Kuwait became a progressive prosperous nation. With the economic boom came urbanization and adopting modern lifestyle. The Omani represent a small population in Kuwait. They practice Islam and maintain Arab practices such as pre-arranged marriage and wear Arab clothing.

Engagement // What’s Happening Now

Christians are often called “People of the Book,” and more people in Arab World are becoming interested in the Bible than there are to share. One Muslim taxi driver was given a New Testament, and after a few conversations, the man converted to Christianity and is being discipled. Pray for more resources so that workers can share scripture and physical copies of the Bible with eager Muslims. See how you can help here:

Sustainability // The Bigger Story

Omani Arabs primarily live in Arab countries such as Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, etc. Pray for Arab world church plants, that God would expand their reach in the Arab world.

Partnership // Move Beyond
  • Pray churches are planted in Omani Arab communities.
  • Pray for workers in Kuwait that God would empower them with boldness and his Spirit to share the gospel in an Arab context.
  • Pray God would reveal himself to Omani Muslims through dreams and visions.
